Wonder Eau de Parfum is inspired by NEST’s Holiday home fragrance, but the advertised note lists are not the same.
As checked October 2, Nordstrom lists NEST New York’s Wonder Eau de Parfum exclusively from $35 for the travel size to $130 for the 3.38-ounce full-size bottle. The limited-edition design is by Pierre Marie.
The easy assumption is that NEST simply put Holiday into a perfume bottle. The current product descriptions show something more selective.
Holiday is described with pomegranate, mandarin orange, pine, cloves and cinnamon, plus hints of vanilla and amber.
Wonder lists grapefruit on top, winter cranberry in the middle and fir balsam at the base.
So the family resemblance is conceptual rather than note-for-note. Both advertise fruit and an evergreen note, but Wonder’s published note list is much narrower and leaves out Holiday’s named cinnamon, clove, vanilla and amber. Holiday names pomegranate and mandarin orange; Wonder names grapefruit and winter cranberry. Holiday names pine; Wonder names fir balsam. Cinnamon, clove, vanilla and amber also disappear from Wonder’s headline note list.
That makes the launch more interesting than a literal copy.
A home fragrance is made for a room; an eau de parfum is made to be worn. NEST is carrying the seasonal identity across categories without claiming that the formulas or experiences are identical.
The distinction also keeps the comparison honest. Product-page notes cannot tell us how long Wonder lasts, how strongly it projects or whether a particular wearer will think it smells exactly like Holiday. Those are wear questions, not facts we can infer from a note list.
What the current listings do establish is simple: Wonder is a limited-edition, Nordstrom-exclusive perfume built explicitly from NEST’s Holiday identity, with grapefruit, cranberry and fir balsam as its headline notes and a current top price of $130.
NEST did not simply bottle Holiday. It translated a recognizable home scent into a wearable holiday fragrance.
